I found Valley Housing Partners when I was struggling to make ends meet for myself and my three children. They came alongside me and assisted me with my rent and household bills and helped me achieve my goals. As a result, I was able to return to school and work on creating housing stability through VHP. It was their process that gave me a loving nudge to be accountable for my family’s spiritual growth in returning to church ministry, which I had stepped away. It required me to be more intentional about my productivity and succeed at the plans for my family. When the board members came to my home, they encouraged me and my children and wrapped us in love during a challenging time for us. My faith is renewed and affirmed and I’m truly thankful for VHP and the great work they do for families like mine. Thank you VHP!!!
I will be forever grateful to VHP for helping me push through a difficult time in my life.
I’m so grateful to have met with Angelica and VHP. As a single mom for two young boys, it was a great support to break ties with unhealthy relationships and through God find strength to move on and become Independent.
Valley Housing Partners assisted me in a crucial time in my life. They assisted me, a single mom, with my rent for 12 months when I could not pay it alone as well as by staying in touch on a continuous basis until I was able to get back on my feet. They also invited me and my children to a wonderful Christmas party! We need more organizations like VHP. I thank them from the bottom of my heart!
They helped my mom when she needed it the most by helping us find a place to live at the time. Thanks to Valley Housing partners me and my siblings were able to focus on school and not where to spend the night now me and my sister both graduated from highschool and in just a month she will go to one of the best universities in california. I was so young when they helped us but they left such an impact on my life that now i have a different perspective on life and try to help whenever I can. Once again I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for everything they did for me and my family. They became our family. I really wish there were more organizations like Valley Housing Partners that support families without knowing them or judging and helping from the heart!
I can honestly say that without Valley Housing Partners, I would not be where I am today. My family was blessed by VHP during a time of uncertainty. After living in a hotel room with five young children, I was able to move to an apartment and pay my rent on time each month with the help VHP provided. Without this help, we would have been in the hotel room much longer. We have been in our home for over 8 years now. That’s the longest my children have lived in one place. It’s all because Valley Housing Partners don’t just provide financial assistance to get you on your feet, but they always care about your well-being and stay in touch.
